This year, our dedication to corporate social responsibility has taken a meaningful stride through our partnership with the Community Chest in the Vaal, known as LUSA and their annual ‘Winter Warmth’ campaign.
The ‘Winter Warmth’ campaign is a beacon of hope in the Vaal, providing essential support to those in need during the harsh winter months. This year, the campaign focused on addressing a pressing concern: ensuring that children in 18 different NPO children’s homes, currently without government grants, continued to receive nutritious food. The initiative successfully fed 360 children, thanks to the bulk food purchases facilitated by LUSA.
BSi Steel is proud to have contributed to this noble cause. Our donation to the ‘Winter Warmth’ campaign underscores our commitment to making a positive impact where it’s needed most. In recognition of our support, we were honoured as a Platinum Donor at a recent function hosted at the Emerald Casino in Vanderbijlpark.
