BSi Steel distributes flat rolled steel that is pickled and oiled. Pickled steel is achieved through taking cold forming, hot-rolled steel which is always descaled. It is this common process that the term pickling is derived. The scale consists of thin layers of iron oxide crystals, where the chemical compositions, structures, and thickness differ according to the temperature, oxidizing conditions, and steel properties are present during their formation.
