Parallel Flange Channels (PFCs) have been developed to replace the older Taper Flange Channels, through utilizing modern facilities and techniques. The evolution of Parallel Flange Channels from Taper Flange channels is identical to the development of Parallel Flange I-and H- sections from the older Taper Flange Sections.
